How to Use the Redaction Dashboard in VIDIZMO
This guide walks you through opening the Redaction Dashboard, filtering it to the activity you care about, reviewing an individual asset, and exporting the data to CSV.
To understand what each metric and panel means, see Understanding Redaction Dashboard in VIDIZMO.
Before You Begin
- Make sure you belong to a group with the Redaction Dashboard feature enabled, or have a CAL that grants this permission. Without it, the menu item does not appear.
- Make sure your content has been processed for PII or object detection. The dashboard only covers assets the VIDIZMO Indexer or Studio Space has analyzed.
Open the Dashboard
To open the dashboard:
- Select Redaction Dashboard from the main navigation menu.
The dashboard opens to the current month, showing your summary metrics, charts, and the Processing Jobs table.
Filter to the Activity You Want
Use the filter bar at the top to narrow the results:
- Select the date range, then choose a preset such as This Week, Last Month, or This Year. For exact dates, choose Custom and pick a start and end date.
- Select Content Type, Detection Method, or Category to filter by those values. You can choose more than one option in each.
- Select Reset Filters to clear everything and return to the current month.
- Select Refresh to reload the latest data without changing your filters.
Note: Filter options reflect the current results. An option appears in a dropdown only when the active filters return data for it.
Change How Detections Are Counted
Use the Added, Removed, and All options at the top-right of the filter bar to control how detections and redactions are totaled in the summary cards and trend chart:
- Select Added to count detections and redactions that were applied.
- Select Removed to count redactions that were removed.
- Select All to count both.
Review a Single Asset
To see every detection on one file:
-
In the Processing Jobs table, select the asset name.
The asset report opens with the asset header, summary cards, detection charts, and the Detections table.
-
For video and audio, review the Detection Timeline to see where detections cluster across the asset.
-
Use the Category and Detection Method filters at the top of the report to focus on specific detections.
Export Data to CSV
Each chart and table exports on its own:
- Find the panel you want, such as Detection Categories, Top 10 Detected PII Entities, or the Detections table.
- Select the download icon in that panel's header.
The data downloads as a CSV file named for the panel and the current date.
Note: Export is available in CSV format. The download icon is active only when the panel has data for your current filters.
